Mission Statement

 

   The Economics Club is the premier preparatory extension organization of the Economics Department at San José State University, existing to serve students. Our primary objective is to optimize our members’ university experience in the academic, professional, and social aspects. We provide debates, lectures, workshops, mentorship, and various other resources that are supplementary to students’ academic endeavors. We extend ourselves to maintain strong guidance for our members’ professional development through regular workshops, mentorship, and interaction with business professionals. We aim to enrich the social aspect of our members’ university experience by providing them exclusive access to large student, alumni, faculty, and professional networks through references and organized social events. By merging the three aforementioned aspects of the university experience that we believe to be of priority, we are able to strive for and ascertain individual success.
